Well...we had a big surprise on Thursday. First of all our trout finally arrived. The students (and yes me) were so excited they were coming. In the morning I had several students come up to help get the tank ready for the new arrivals. We were all eager to see our new little classroom additions. Karen Harris and Dave Smith from Trout Unlimited brought our eggs at the end of the day. We originally were going to only receive 500 but now we found out we were given 800! And, if you add in Mr. Whittaker's tank from next door, we have a grand total of 1600! So, needless to say we will be extra taking care of the trout this year. Please enjoy the pictures of the students as they helped put together nets and put up the cover for the trout-it was a fun morning of preparations!
